I beg to differ. Although i agree with this simplified outlook on life i strongly feel that there is more than mere decisions that have got us to where we are today. After all some people, more so in the past, go through life without encountering different people and therefore not facing many decisions and not having to respond to many different people’s decisions. Yet these people remain individual, with individual aspirations and views on life. I think that although decisions are important in directing us to where we end up, it is our personal beliefs and views that direct these decisions. And although i am aware that this could be argued as our own ‘decisions’ i feel they are seperate due to the fact that a belief is something in which we have no control over. Some beliefs we can not merely decide to follow. Sometimes we would be in a better place if we did not have these personal beliefs.
