Open Source Slideshow Software?
1
September 8th, 2008TechnologyI’ve been searching for quite some time for a preferably open source program to create slideshows that has the following features:
- Import a folder of images and sort them
- Specify the duration of each from (starting from milliseconds)
- Add music
- Export in mpg, avi, wmv and other video formats as well as exe
I’ve tried Karsten SlideShow Project and whilst it’s open source and can order images it can’t export to any format - it’s used as a screensaver or desktop wallpaper switcher.
I’ve also tried Photostage Slideshow Software and it’s great. It does everything I need except it doesn’t export to .exe and it isn’t open source. The latter isn’t really a problem but I’m looking to use more open source software. For now I guess this one wins, but if anyone knows of any software please let me know!
EDIT See my update post!
