Artquest’s 20th Anniversary party is being held on a new online platform Gather. Register here and we’ll send a link before the event. When you join you’ll design your avatar and be transported into a specially designed and curated pixel metaverse by artist Jazmin Morris.

Artquest exists to help make the art world more equitable for artists. Over the last 20 years, we have researched visual artists working conditions, barriers and motivations to develop the professional information, advice and support projects artists need to meet their ambitions.

At the party, we will announce our new plans for supporting artists in the next 20 years through our new and improved website and programmes like Applied and Artquest Exchange.

Gather is a mixture of an old skool video game and Zoom. Like a traditional party, you will be able to mingle and chat with people as you move through the themed spaces. There will be a cafe/bar, sound room, zine room, gallery and performance spaces where you will come across visual artists and artists that are at the forefront of emerging technology, playing with immersion and interaction.

Artquest’s birthday pixel party has been curated and designed by artist Jazmin Morris. Jazmin is a Creative Computing Artist, Lead Digital Tutor for Graphic Communication Design at Central Saint Martins and a Lecturer in Creative Computing & Digital Outreach at UAL’s Creative Computing Institute. Her personal practice and research explore representation and inclusivity within technology.
