BZF 2012 happened from 12-15th October and, as with the previous two years, it was a great success!
On October 13th, the day of the main fair, over 500 people came through the doors of Sidewalk to indulge in zines, comics and illustrations from over 40 exhibitors, as well as films and presentations from the likes of The Brothers McLeod and Jeffrey Lewis
BZF (formerly Birmingham Zine Festival) is back for its third annual festival from 12th-15th October and once again - though for the final time - I’m happy to be part of the team organising it!
All of the events are still being planned, but as usual there’ll be the Independent Publishing Fair which has over 30 exhibitors!. All other events and information can be found on the main website. If you’re a social media use why not “Like” and “Follow” BZF on Facebook and Twitter.
In addition to whatever else I do with the time instead of sleeping/eating I also help to organise Birmingham Zine Festival. It started in 2010 as the result of people who make - or in my case, read - zines coming together with a few ideas. We had our second festival in June 2011, which was really well attended and was great fun all around!
